Chesapeake Hall
Chesapeake Hall primarily houses Sophomore students; however, based on occupancy, the University reserves the right to assign freshmen and transfer students here as well.
Hall Style: Apartment (four double rooms share 2 full standalone bathrooms). There are no single rooms.
Occupants: 172 students, 5 RAs and 1 Hall Director
Double rooms are approximately 10’x 12’ and the windows are sized at 63” x 48’. As this hall is not carpeted, the recommended rug size is 5’x 7’.
The furniture can be lofted. Each student has a twin XL bed, desk, desk chair, desk carrell and access to a closet (or wardrobe in the triples).
Each room has an ethernet and wireless connection and the University has a Xfinity streaming package.
Heat and Air Conditioning are available on a seasonal schedule.
There is a shared kitchen/common area. We encourage students to communicate regarding shared flat/glassware and pots/pans, as no personal effects are provided.
An in-apartment laundry unit as well as a common area laundry room is available. Detergent must be provided by the student.
Housekeeping services the student bathrooms twice a week and toilet tissue is provided. Students are responsible for cleaning their own apartment common area/kitchen.
