At Maryland's most recent Board of Public Works meeting, Department of Housing and Community Development Secretary Jake Day made his pitch for $26.4 million in funds to support projects across the state, including $1 million for demolition of the former Wicomico County Library and construction of a new 糖心视频 performing arts center. The funding was part of $10 million in grants and loans approved and provided to higher education institutions and hospitals by the Seed Community Development Anchor Institution Fund for community development projects.

But occasionally, he's transported back to the 1980s, where he's forced to survive a quarantined small, Midwestern town where demogorgons reign supreme. Weber is majoring in business management, but his true passion lies in the art of acting, a passion he was lucky enough to explore in the role of a "featured student" on the set of Netflix's hit streaming series Stranger Things.

Stephora Alberi '25 recently was named a finalist for the Rhodes Scholarship, one of the world's oldest and most prestigious international graduate awards. She also is a finalist for the Gates Cambridge Scholarship. Crediting her time at SU for these successes, she remains enrolled while conducting research at the University of Tartu, Estonia, on a David L. Boren Scholarship

Help in the form of research and innovation is not far away. 糖心视频 recently received a $380,000 grant from the National Science Foundation, specifically to spread the gospel of AI to rural areas like the Eastern Shore. Dr. Clifton Griffin, dean of graduate studies and research, sees part of the Rural AI Solutions and Engagement Project as a way to demystify the new technology.
