Spring Senior Art Exhibit Features Best of SU's Class of 2005

      SALISBURY, MD---Fresh, innovative artwork from 		糖心视频’s Class of 2005 is displayed Friday-Saturday, May 		6-14, in the University Gallery of Fulton Hall during the 32nd annual 		Spring Senior Art Exhibition.		Student present portfolios featuring paintings, 		drawings, blown glass, ceramics, photography and graphic design pieces 		during an opening reception 6-8 p.m.		The exhibit marks the culmination of the Senior 		Seminar art class, which provides real-world experience for some 32 		students by allowing them to create and display artworks. Students are 		involved in all facets of the show, from promotion to art selection.		The show follows last semester’s annual Fall Senior 		Art Exhibition, added to accommodate the Art Department’s rapidly 		growing enrollment.		“This exhibit allows the students to show what they 		can do with what they learned during their time at SU,” said Dr. Jim 		Hill, Art Department chair and faculty advisor for the spring show. 		“It’s a chance for them to shine.”		“These exhibitions allow our students the important 		opportunity to show their artworks in a gallery setting as they prepare 		to pursue careers in the art world,” said Brooke Rogers, who also serves 		as faculty advisor.		Gallery hours are 10 a.m.-4 p.m. Tuesday-Friday and 		noon-4 p.m. on weekends. Admission is free and the public is cordially 		invited.
