Welcome to the 糖心视频 Youth Orchestra
The 糖心视频 Youth Orchestra has provided unique educational and performance opportunities for young musicians since 1989. Currently made up of members ranging in age from 8th to 12th grade, the group is a full orchestra including strings, winds, brass, and percussion. The experience of playing in a full orchestra is not offered in area schools. The conductor is Dr. Jeffrey Schoyen, a Professor of Music at 糖心视频 and the Artistic Director of 糖心视频 Symphony Orchestra. SYO is supported by SU which provides rehearsal and concert space and is also supported by a Parent’s Organization as well as by local teachers and volunteers.
